PermataBank Syariah today officially launched PermataKPR iB Bijak, with the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (MMQ) contract, which is the first innovative product of Sharia-based mortgages in the Indonesian Syariah banking industry, which synergizes between mortgages and savings. PermataKPR iB Bijak is present as a solution to provide comfort and convenience for the people of Indonesia who want to have a #PilihHati property with a lighter and flexible installment. Customers can arrange their own installments according to the size of the placement of funds in savings.

PermataBank through PermataBank Syariah has further strengthened its collaboration with one of the biggest soccer clubs in Indonesia, Persib Bandung. The collaboration that enters this third year is PermataBank Syariah’s commitment to embrace the people of West Java, especially the Persib bobotoh to better understand financial literacy and inclusion through banking products that are in accordance with their hearts. This is marked by the launch of the latest edition of the Persib debit card display. Also present to introduce the new “face” are Herwin Bustaman – Director of PermataBank Syariah Business Unit, Teddy Tjahyono – Director of Persib Bandung Dignified (PBB), and M. Natshir Mahbuby (Deden) – Persib Goalkeeper.
With the title as one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world, around 84%, Indonesia has sharia potential that can be developed. It is unfortunate, the high number of Muslim population is not balanced with the share of the Islamic banking market in Indonesia which is only 5.7%. However, West Java people’s interest in sharia-based products grew positively in 2019. Based on data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Region 2 West Java, there was an asset growth of 4.67%, Third Party Funds (DPK) 13.06%, and financing 7.32% Year-on-Year (YoY).

Truedan, a well-known boba beverage brand from Taiwan, opened its first store in Indonesia. Truedan comes with at least 20 variations of boba drinks and chose Taman Anggrek Mall Jakarta to be the location of its first outlet. Not just drinks, Truedan also presents 6 variants of Korean-style sandwiches that are famous for its delicacy to be able to provide the best hangout experience to the visitors. The opening of this outlet has become very special because the first time for the boba beverage brand comes along with a food menu to be served. The event was attended by Kova and Roan – Truedan founders from Taiwan, Gerald Hee – Master Frenchisee Truedan Indonesia, and Michelle Zudith – Indonesian celebrities.
Truedan was born in 2010 at the iconic Shilin Night Market in Taipei with his own creation of brown sugar. Truedan did a full year of research into making quality boba. The making is no longer using conventional methods that only combine ready-made brown sugar syrup and boba. Truedan caramelizes self-produced brown sugar, converting it from refined granules into golden thick viscous liquid. Boba is then cooked in syrup, to produce a chewy and aromatic boba, pearlfection. To maintain freshness and texture, the buckwheat is cooked and replaced regularly every two hours.
